OMAR
In 1936 Dravo Corporation built three towboats near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania named
OMAR, CHARLES T. CAMPBELL, and JOHN W. HUBBARD. Later names included CHARLES DORRANCE,
ORCO and JOHN J. ROWE. Details include section, pilothouse, a standard coal hopper barge
and lettering. Prototype drawings were used.
Hull size 171.5' x 34.6' x 7.2'. Model size at 1:96, 25 3/4" x 4 3/4" x 6 3/8".
